Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.
Screen printing is a cost-effective option for larger orders, with some machines able to print 600 shirts an hour. This means they can be much cheaper to produce compared with other methods. The option of screen printing also gives a great, high quality finish for single colour designs, especially for dark inks on light garments.
